We are a group of air charter brokers made up of professional airplane and helicopter pilots, with more than 20 years of flying experience. Our operations base is Helinorth Heliport, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We offer the comprehensive organization of helicopter flights in Buenos Aires, Argentina, through an extensive network of certified air carriers, carefully selected based on their standards of quality and safety, and their trajectory over time.
More than 20 years in the business endorse our trajectory. Safety is our priority while our mission is for you to enjoy this activity as much as we do.
We invite you to check out the reviews of those who have flown with us at Trip Advisor and Google!
Depending on the aircraft and service booked, flights may depart from Helinorth Heliport, San Fernando International Airport, or the City Autodrome. Helinorth and San Fernando are in northern Greater Buenos Aires; the City Autodrome is in the south of the City of Buenos Aires. We will let you know the departure point and access directions before you book.
We use Robinson 44 helicopters with a capacity of 3 passengers, Robinson 66 helicopters with a capacity of 4 passengers, and Bell 206 helicopters with a capacity of 6 passengers. Visit the Fleet section for more information about these aircraft.
We operate flights every day of the week, weekends and holidays, with departures from 9:00 am. We fly during daylight hours, which vary depending on the season and light conditions. Some tours, such as Helitour Baires Sunset and Helitour Tigre Sunset, have special schedules depending on the nature of the experience.
Since we do not have on-site staff at the departure point, flights are only carried out with prior reservation.
The helicopters have a capacity for 3, 4, and 6 passengers, depending on the model. Unless a private flight is specifically requested upon reservation, scenic flights or helitours may be shared with passengers occupying the remaining available seats.
There are no age limits to take a flight. However, the recommended minimum age is 2 years old. Regardless of the age, all passengers pay the same rate.
All helicopters have weight and balance limitations. The total weight of passengers must not exceed 240 kg. in the Robinson 44 (average of 80 kg. per person), 300 kg. in the Robinson 66 (average of 75 kg. per person) and 420 kg. in the Bell 206 (average of 70 kg. per person). In any case, the maximum weight allowed per person is 120 kg.
For safety reasons, it is required that all passengers must be able to get in and out of the helicopter on their own. If any passenger has a physical limitation, please let us know before booking a flight.
Gift vouchers must be used before the expiration date indicated in each particular case. The expiration date cannot be extended. After that date the voucher expires and cannot be redeemed, and the amount paid will not be refunded.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Only small handbags are allowed on board, since the helicopters have very small compartments to accommodate luggage.
We recommend bringing comfortable and light clothes, ideally in dark colors, to avoid the reflection in the windows of the helicopter which could be seen in the photos.
Consuming food or drinks on board the helicopter is not permitted, for safety and hygiene reasons.
All passengers must bring a valid physical ID or passport to the departure point on the date of flight. Driver's licenses, photographs, photocopies and digital ID's will not be accepted as valid documentation for entry to the premises.
In addition, each passenger must assume the consequences and the costs of penalties that may arise from non-compliance with this requirement. No claims can be made, and Buenos Aires Helitours cannot be held responsible thereafter.
Passengers must arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before their flight time. The maximum tolerance for any delay is 15 minutes beyond that time, without exception.
After that time, which already includes a total margin of 30 minutes, the flight will be canceled and the penalty corresponding to a no-show will be charged.
A member of our team will meet the passengers upon their arrival at the departure point, at the agreed place and time. Once there, we will assist them in the boarding process and the security check, and we will accompany them to their helicopter.
Before boarding the aircraft, information will be provided about the activity to be carried out and the applicable safety measures will be explained. Additionally, and given the nature of the activity, passengers may be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form.
We take reservations within 20 days prior to the date of flight. We recommend booking a few days before your preferred flight date, so you have a preliminary weather outlook and can reduce the likelihood of adverse conditions or rescheduling.
Reservations can be requested via e-mail to the address info@bahelitours.com, or via Whatsapp to the number +54 911 3080 7775.
To make the reservation, it will be necessary to pay the full amount of the service (see payment methods).
Reservations will be confirmed by email once the payment for the service has been credited.
The rates displayed on our website are in Argentine Pesos (ARS), Brazilian Reais (BRL), Euros (EUR) and United States Dollars (USD), the latter being the reference currency. The VAT (value added tax) of 10.5% or 21% applies depending on the type of flight to be performed.
Rates can change without notice and their validity is only guaranteed in the reference currency (US dollar), from the moment the service is paid.
Payments can be made in Argentine pesos (ARS) via bank transfer or cash deposit, or in US dollars (USD) with foreign credit card via Paypal (7% surcharge applies).
You can also pay with a credit card issued by a local bank through a payment link or QR code (15% surcharge applies). Your bank may offer installment payments; available options and associated costs will be shown when you start the payment process.
In anticipation of the delay that these transactions may imply, no payment will be recognized until the funds have been credited to the corresponding account.
Unless expressly requested for advance billing, all invoices are issued within 10 business days after the date of execution of the flight.
Our rates are based on the United States Dollar (USD) as the reference currency. In the event of paying for a flight in another currency and if a devaluation of that currency against the dollar were to occur between the payment date and the flight date, the customer will be offered the option to pay the corresponding difference or request a refund of the amount paid at the time of booking, proceeding in the latter case to the cancellation of the service with no penalty applied.
Any change requested by the customer for a reserved and confirmed flight, such as dates, times, itineraries, destinations or others, will be subject to the availability of the aircraft and any additional costs that may apply. Only one (1) change per confirmed booking is permitted.
The request must be made at least 72 hours before the date of flight. For any change requested within 72 hours before the date of flight, a penalty of 50% of the total original price will be charged, in addition to the extra costs that may apply for the change itself.
Regardless of such costs or penalties, if you wish to change the date of your flight, the flight must be done within 30 days of the original date. After that time, the reservation will expire and a penalty of 100% of the total service will be applied.
If there is no availability to make the requested change and the customer cannot comply with the original itinerary, or if the customer does not accept a modification in the rate as a result of the requested change, the service will be cancelled and penalties will apply as in the case of cancellation by the customer, specified in the "Cancellations" section.
In case of cancellation by the customer, the following penalties apply: more than 72 hours before the date of flight, 50% of the total service will be charged. Between 72 and 24 hours before the date of flight, 75% of the total service will be charged. Less than 24 hours before the flight or in case of a no-show, 100% of the service will be charged.
In the event of cancellation of the service for reasons attributable to Buenos Aires Helitours or the air operator, the customer will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid.
When a refund is to be issued in accordance with these conditions, the same payment method and currency used for the reservation will be utilized.
Any expenses, taxes or bank commissions related this transaction will be borne by the customer and deducted from the amount to be refunded.
In addition, an administrative fee equivalent to 5% of the amount to reimburse, or USD 50, whichever is greater, will be charged to the customer (not applicable if the refund originates from the cancellation of the service by the operator, or due to adverse weather conditions).
The processing of the refund request and payment timeframe may take up to 10 business days.
The pilot is solely responsible for deciding whether a flight can be conducted or not due to weather conditions.
In case of adverse weather at the time of your flight (rain, strong winds, reduced visibility, etc.), you can either ask for a refund (check our refund policy) or reschedule the activity for a date of your convenience within 15 days of the original date. After that time, the reservation will expire and a cancellation fee of 100% of the total service will be applied.
If you elect to reschedule the flight in advance due to weather forecast, the policies specified in the section "Changes to the reservation" will apply.
If you choose not to travel due to weather conditions at the scheduled time but flights are operational, a penalty of 100% of the total service will be applied.
A flight may suffer delays or reschedules and itineraries may vary due to weather, air traffic control or force majeure reasons. The customer will not hold Buenos Aires Helitours responsible for reschedules or changes of itineraries based on any of the aforementioned reasons.
The duration of each tour is indicative and varies according to the permits obtained and the route authorized by the air traffic control, weather conditions and other factors beyond the responsibility of Buenos Aires Helitours.
Since the duration of a tour is based on the elapsed time from the aircraft's engine startup to its stop, the specific flight time could be less than the total duration of the activity, since that duration includes the time on the ground required for the execution of procedures and maneuvers pre/post takeoff/landing.
Buenos Aires Helitours provides advisory services and acts as an intermediary between the customer and the air operator. Buenos Aires Helitours does not act as an air carrier, and does not own or operate any aircraft.
Buenos Aires Helitours only offers services from air operators that are authorized by the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) according to the Argentine Civil Aviation Regulations (RAAC).
Air operators are solely responsible for the services provided for the customers of Buenos Aires Helitours, and for compliance with the requirements and applicable regulations for carrying them out.
All passengers are covered by the insurance of the operator of each aircraft. Buenos Aires Helitours does not provide any additional coverage.
The Client, on its own behalf and on behalf of all passengers included in the booking, shall be responsible for any damage, breakage or soiling caused to the aircraft, provided that it is directly attributable to them, as a result of accidents, improper use, negligence, failure to comply with crew instructions or violation of safety procedures.
Such responsibility includes repair costs, replacement of parts and professional specialized cleaning, including stains or odors that cannot be removed through standard cleaning methods.
Force majeure refers to extraordinary, unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond the control of both the customer and the service provider that prevent the flight from taking place or make its operation unsafe. These may include, as applicable, adverse weather conditions, airport or airspace closures or restrictions, orders issued by authorities, emergencies, conflicts, natural disasters, or other external circumstances of a similar nature.
Illness, indisposition, delays, documentation issues, changes of plans, or other personal circumstances affecting the customer or passengers are not considered force majeure and will be subject to the standard change, cancellation and refund conditions.
If the flight cannot be operated due to operational or safety reasons, weather conditions, or a force majeure event as described above, the rescheduling or refund conditions set forth in the Weather, Delays and Duration and Changes, Cancellations and Refunds sections will apply.
